Education in Economics

If you've read or heard our story of how we started out in investing, you now know that we spent a year going to every seminar, conference, information session...anything real estate related, that came to town.  We bought every book, CD and "information package" that we could get our hands on.  We learned lots about terminology; what a 'sandwich' or 'straw buyer' or 'pocket deal' meant...that was all very helpful in knowing what to avoid more than anything.

We learned the lingo, shall we say, so that when we did start investing, we knew what people were talking about and had less of a learning curve.  If you're just starting out, and you have some time on your hands, the free sessions and seminars might just be worth it so you can be familiar with those kinds of events and learn some terminology, but at the end of the day, if you are a serious investor, we know that you'll end up right were we did; with an accredited, reputable real estate education network.

Hands down, it was by far the best possible education you could get.  Not only do you get actual step by step education on how to find, anaylize, rent, manage and then sell your property, but when the time is right and why.  Just being able to understand Economic Indicators and how they affect Real Estate alone is worth every minute and every penny you spend.
